Timothy Cornelius Carnes

Timothy Cornelius Carnes, 51, of Rogers, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2018 in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born August 5, 1966, in Springdale, Arkansas, the son of Ray Dean and Wanda Collins Carnes. He had worked in road construction and was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting mushrooms, gardening, being outdoors and helping other people. He was preceded by his father. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Carnes, one son, Jacob Carnes, of Rogers, Arkansas; one daughter, Nickie Benjamin and husband, Joe, of Springdale, Arkansas; his mother, Wanda Patton, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; three brothers: Larry Carnes and wife, Julie, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Quincy Carnes of Fairview, Missouri; and Brian Dalton of Yukon, Oklahoma; three sisters: Diana Anderson and husband, Keith, of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Paula Strite and husband, Daniel, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; and Linda Wright and husband, Samuel, of Springdale, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Cheyla, Ayron, Icelyn, and Joe Junior. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with Sister Paula Strite officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 30, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home.
