Anthony Connor Thompson

ANTHONY CONNOR THOMPSON came into our lives on December 27, 1993 and left us on April 28, 2018. Weighing only 2 lbs. 11 oz. at birth, what a huge impact he left on our lives and on our hearts. We realized almost immediately that Connor was special. We knew that God had sent an angel to live among us. What Connor lacked physically, God made sure he was well compensated with a beautiful and genuine smile, a sweet disposition and a personality that drew others to him. He possessed a strength and courage that only comes from God. He faced every challenge with optimism and hope, which he instilled in everyone around him. He inspired us to live life, to be grateful and appreciative and to laugh, at which he was the best. Connor found joy in things we might take for granted. He loved country music, loved the Florida beaches, delighted in messing with his brothers and adored time with friends and family, especially his nephew James and niece Addison. We take comfort in knowing his pain is gone, that he is spiritually and physically complete and that one day he will be standing tall awaiting our arrival for all eternity. Our heart will forever be touched by all the people who were on this journey with us, caring for our sweet Connor. Many thanks and appreciation to Arkansas Easters Seals who began this journey with us 24 years ago, to Arkansas Children's Hospital and to The Pediatric Clinic, especially Dr. Stephen Fiedorek. To the entire staff at Baptist Springhill who went above and beyond to help not just Connor, but our entire family. A special thanks to the entire staff of 2A for pouring your hearts and souls into giving our angel the best care and for putting up with his momma. Please never forget the countless lives you touch and what true gifts you are. We appreciate so much the Respiratory team, The Phlebotomist and the Radiology team who always had your work cut out for you when working on our delicate boy. To Dr. Scott Harrington and Dr. Clark Watson you will never know how much we appreciated your hard work and your God given calling to care for others. Thank you to Claudia Moran and DeAnn Roach for your endearing friendship to Connor and to us. Your therapeutic work was awesome. A heartfelt thanks to Aunt Jeannie and Aunt Sandy, Cousins Stephanie and Jessica, our entire family and all our special friends. We love you beyond measure!
