Greta Lisenby

Greta Lisenbey, 72, of White Hall, passed away Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018. She was born July 11, 1946 in Pine Bluff to the late Arnold and Opal Johnson Crosby. Greta was reared and educated in Pine Bluff and was a lifelong resident. She was a 1964 graduate of Dollarway High School. She had worked for First Arkansas Insurance, then she became the secretary at Hardin Baptist Church where she was a member and worked there for 30 years. She also taught Sunday School and worked in the nursery. Greta was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Claudette Lisenbey; and 2 brothers, Herbert Crosby and Robert Ed Crosby. Survivors include her 2 daughters, Tonya Lisenbey of White Hall, Jareta (Stephen) Moore of Conway; 1 sister, Wilma Taylor of Pine Bluff; 1 brother, Dene Crosby of Sheridan; and 1 grandson, Spencer Moore of Conway. Funeral Services will be 10:00AM Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Bro. Johnny Taylor, Nancy Hannon and Dr. Dale Wicker officiating. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Monday at the funeral home. The family will be at the house of Jareta Moore, 22 Richland Hills Drive, Conway, Ark. Donations may be made to the Baptist Church for Children in Monticello or Gideons International.
