Karen M. Wantz, 80, passed away on August 4, 2018 in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born in Knoke, Iowa on March 1, 1938 to the late John R. and Viola (Rubendall) Armstrong. She was the loving wife of Richard Wantz for 59 years. Karen was a member of Hartland Friends Church, where she played the organ on Sunday's. While living in Arkansas, she and Richard attended the First United Methodist Church in Springdale. She loved traveling, crocheting, her cats, spending time with her family and especially loved her grandbabies. She was an amazing mother, grandmother and wife. Karen was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Kristi Wantz. She is survived by her husband, Richard of Bentonville; son, Rick Wantz and Alicia of Fayetteville; daughters, Nanci Brandt and Mark of Missouri and Debbie Hill and Jim of Siloam Springs; brother, David Armstrong of Texas; sister, Arlene Staton of Arizona and Judy Mather of Iowa; 6 grandchildren, Brad Hill, Kayla McLaughlin, Erica Harvey, Sierra Nelson, Sylvia Wantz, and Christina Brandt and her sweet little great-grandchild, Emery McLaughlin.
