John Owen Humphreys

John Owen Humphreys, age 59, passed away on August 21, 2018. He was born to Dorothy McKinley and John Davis on November 22, 1958 in Little Rock, Arkansas. John was a loving Dad, Papa and friend to the many who were fortunate enough to know him. He was a hardworking employee at Looney's Tire Center as their Store Manager. John loved his family and treasured every moment spent with them. "Papa's Patch" was a special place filled with flowers, organic gardens and was John's joy, it was a haven of peace to all who visited. He will be greatly missed by all the lives that he touched, but fondly and lovingly remembered. He is survived by his only daughter Alissa Pretty and husband Josh; granddaughter, Gracie; Significant Other, Carla Hays; his Uncle that was "like a brother" Don McKinley and wife Cathy; mother, Dorothy Dill; five sisters; Darlene Wrobleski, Cynthia Justice, Melinda Coppak and husband Calvin, Lisa Gardner and husband Frank, Pamala Bellmore and husband Robert and one brother; William "Bill" Davis. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Humphreys; brother, Tim Baker; father, John Davis. A Funeral Service to honor John will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock (501-791-7400). Burial to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 24, 2018 at the funeral home.
