Dennis Joe Walker went home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2018. He died peacefully in the hands of his wife and daughter. Anyone who knew Dennis could all agree in saying, "What a life he lived". Dennis was born in Fayetteville, Ark. to Clint and Lucille Walker on February 26, 1951. He served in the US Army and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He was the loving husband for 30 years to Betty (Hattabaugh) Walker, who survives. They had one daughter, Whitney Lynn (Walker) Grady, and her husband Chris Grady. Dennis lived a very full life. He never did anything halfway. That's just how he rolls! He was an entrepreneur. Dennis owned 4 businesses at the same time for a few years. He owned Walker's Service Center, Walker Properties, Collector's Corner, & Used Oil Service Company, which is his sole business today. Dennis started his oil business in 1987 on a handshake with his business partner from Oklahoma City, Mr. Jim Charles & wife, Sheryl. He has numerous employees, which have always felt like Family to him. He considered Adam Taylor, his general manager, like a son, and he loved him like his own. He was a member of The Elks Lodge in Fayetteville, and was a Classic Car enthusiast. His favorite charities include: Wounded Warriors and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a highly influential and respected man in his Community. He loved watching Western Movies and enjoyed traveling. Survivors include his mother and father-in-law, Billy and Bessie Hattabaugh, cousins, Allison Pinkley and her husband Allen, Carl Nail and his wife Paula, Donny Graham and his wife Lynn, Jerry Graham and wife Marty, and a host of 2nd Cousins, and great-nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 starting at 10 a.m. at Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville with Pastor Steve Dixon and Pastor C.L. "Red" Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
