Becky Kauffman, age 72, of Fordyce, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 7, 2018 surrounded by her family at St. Vincent's in Little Rock. She was born on January 13, 1946, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Clem and Eva Gill Treadwell. Becky was a loving wife, momma, and mamaw. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she loved her ladies Sunday school class and attending Keenagers. She had a love for Arkansas Razorback basketball and hardly ever missed a game. She was a wonderful cook and loved collecting cookbooks. Becky was well-known for her Christmas candy and giving it to her friends and family. She and her husband were owners of Jiffy Joe's and spent countless hours running the family business. Becky loved to go on vacation with her family to the beach. She never touched the sand and surf, as her main goal was the "surf and turf." She loved talking on the phone, beginning each day getting the latest news and gossip from her family and friends. She was an animal lover and had several pets throughout her lifetime. Her biggest love was for her family. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren, and never missed anything in which they were involved. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Kauffman; her son, Kyle Kauffman; and her brother-in-law, Pat Kauffman, as well as her two very special "Rubys"- Ruby Jones and Ruby Fountain. She is survived by her son, Kevin Kauffman and wife Melanie; and daughter, Kasey Langley, all of Fordyce; grandchildren Justin Langley and wife Hannah, of Houston, Texas, her "sweet stuff" Kayla Langley, of Arkadelphia, and Ryan and Anna Claire Tutor of Fordyce; her sister-in-law, Janie Kauffman, nieces Carol Johnson and Cindy Coy, all of Bryant; special cousin, Lynda Lightfoot of Ivan, and many cousins and friends who were dearly loved. There will be a memorial service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rusty Ross and Rev. Nathan Winiecki officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Morning Meadow Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 398, Fordyce, Ark. 71742 as a testament to her love of animals. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net.
