Glenda Christine Pigue

Glenda Christine Pigue, age 78, of Benton, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018. She was born March 19, 1939 in O'Kean, Arkansas. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Dora Walker and two brothers, Deloss and Denver Walker. Glenda was a devout Christian and fervent prayer warrior. She loved her family fiercely and constantly covered them in prayer. The very last morning of her life was spent praying and journaling in her very own "War Room" as she called it. She was active in her community and had a passion for health and fitness. Glenda loved her Magic Mirror and Fitness Unlimited members & staff just like family. She impacted so many lives in such a positive way and we know her legacy will live on in each of us. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ewell Von Pigue of Benton ; three sons, Vince Pigue (Randee) of Nashville, Tennessee, Shane Pigue (Lara) and Chris Pigue (Beth) all of Benton; brother, Darrell Walker (Patricia) of Jonesboro; sister, Joyce Bennett of Searcy; brother-in-law, Ronald Pigue (Chuckie), Paragould: 11 grandchildren, Jake Pigue (Ann), Callie Pigue, Chase Pigue, Kirstie Pigue, Demi Pigue, Thomas Shane Pigue, Peyton Hudgins, Jessica Ponder (Rustin), Blake Pigue, Paige Pigue and Bryce Pigue and three great-grandchildren, Jack McDaniel, Skylar Pigue and Grayson Sadler. Visitation will be 11:00 to 12:00 a.m Monday, February 12 at First Assembly of God in Benton with services beginning at 12:00 p.m. Gene Huskey will be officiating.
