Judith Bailey Parker (Judy) was born May 30, 1936 in Malvern, Arkansas to Gladys (Fitzhugh) and Emory Lawrence Bailey and died on February 7, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a 1954 graduate of Malvern High School, where she made lifelong friendships with many, especially a group known as "The Fab 50's Girls" who has stayed in touch throughout their lives and traveled together annually in recent years. Judy worked at numerous businesses throughout her career, including Reynolds Metals in Jones Mill and Affiliated Engineers in Hot Springs. Some of Judy's greatest passions in life included gardening, playing the piano and spending time outdoors, especially at her mother's home place in the country on Sulphur Springs Road. If asked what the favorite part of her life was, Judy would have certainly said it was her family, to whom she devoted most of her time, energy and love. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Gladys, brothers Donald and Weldon, a sister Gloria Beth, and husband John F. Parker. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Jones (David) of Memphis, son Carey Smith (Andria) of Little Rock, and grandchildren Wesley Jones, Bailey Jones and Emery Claire Smith. Numerous other family members and friends celebrate her life and mourn her passing. Visitation will be held at J. A. Funk Funeral Home, 318 Ash Street, Malvern, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on Sunday, February 11, 2018. Funeral will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2018. Interment will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery on Country Club Road, south of Malvern off Highway 9. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clear Creek Cemetery, P. O.
