A.J. Anderson, 79, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, February 12, 2018. He was born April 27, 1938 in England, Arkansas to O.V. and Ruby Anderson. He was owner of Mizell Signs and attended First Assembly of God church. He will be missed by his friends at their morning Waffle House get-togethers. A.J. coached his daughter's softball team, Double Trouble; and was his grandchildren's biggest fan at all of their events. He also enjoyed deer hunting. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Anderson; daughter, Cathy Dillon (Randy); grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley) and Caitlyn Dillon; great-grandchild, Andi Jade Dillon (his namesake); sisters, Doris Ming (Murl), Pat Riba (Ralph), Jeanette Fulmer (Bob) and Sonda Edwards (Garland); other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his infant brother, Billy Wayne Anderson. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, February 16, 2018 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Burial will follow in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
