Becca Rasco Mehlin, 56, of Little Rock, passed away February 12, 2018. She was born December 25, 1961 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Becca grew up on the family farm in DeWitt, Ark. in a community of duck hunters and rice farmers and even went on to be named Queen Mallard 1979 at the World Championship Duck Calling Contest held in Stuttgart. She has spent time in recent years back in Arkansas County serving as Chairman of the Board of DeWitt Bank and Trust Co. Becca earned her Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) degree from University of Arkansas Medical Science and was employed by the West Little Rock Women's Center for nine years. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Ole Miss where she made many lifelong sister friendships. She was also a member of the Junior League of Little Rock. She was passionate about her patients, job and family. She loved spending time with her family and friends at their house at Greers Ferry Lake, cooking, traveling and watching sunsets. Becca is preceded in death by her father, Charles William Rasco III. She is survived by her husband, Philip Wayne Mehlin; sons, Parker Ferguson and Charles Alexander Cope of Little Rock; mother, Nancy Rasco of Oxford, MS; sister, Kent Rasco Magee of Oxford, Miss.; niece, Mary Halley Carlson of Montgomery, Ala.; nephew, Hudson Guthrie Magee of Bozeman, Mont. and stepson, Tristan Mehlin of North Little Rock. Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 224-8300.
