Patricia Marie O'Malley

Patricia (Patty) Marie O'Malley, 69, of Little Rock, passed away surrounded by her family, February 9, 2018. She was born to Thomas & Mary O'Malley on February 24, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri. She succumbed after a long, courageous battle with diabetes. Patty was a longtime member of Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church until joining Christ the King, where she was very active with the seniors group. She was a graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy and attended UALR. She was a career employee of the State of Arkansas, most recently with the Arkansas Public Service Commission. Patty was an independent, outgoing and very caring person, much appreciated for her warm, loving nature. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and her dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother, Antoinette O'Malley. She is survived by her siblings, Michael (Susan) O'Malley, Ruth Ann (Malcolm) Miller-Jones, Dennis (Sharon Bass) O'Malley, Kevin (Martha Christy) O'Malley, and Susan (Chris Ritchie) O'Malley; nieces and nephews, Kyle (Alicia) O'Malley, Meghan (Bart) Foster, Townsend Miller-Jones, Lindsay (Ryan) Anderson, Courtney (Dan) Goldstein, Patrick O'Malley, Ian O'Malley, Michael (Brianne) Ritchie, Peter (Julia) Ritchie, Caitlin Ritchie as well as step-family Margot (Pat) Byrne, Christine Hotchkiss, Michaelene (Richard) Perry and Lin (Barbara) Wills, along with a host of great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 6 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the church.
