C. Lindell Mabry

C. Lindell Mabry, 70, of Rogers passed away on February 17, 2018. He was born in Bentonville, Arkansas on August 17, 1947 to Howard and Mildred (Ford) Mabry. He was married to his high school sweet-heart and best friend, Sheryl (Carmichael) Mabry for 40 years. Lindell served in the US Navy and was a retired Lieutenant from the Rogers Fire Department. He also worked as a builder in Rogers and sold real estate briefly with Coldwell Banker. Lindell loved bird hunting with his hunting buddies and always had his dogs, Sam and Wyatt along his side. He cherished spending time with his wonderful family on Beaver Lake and soaking up sun and sand on annual beach vacations. He also was an Arkansas Razorback sports fan and loved attending football and baseball games with Sheryl and Friends. Near and dear to his heart, Lindell loved spending time with his grandchildren. If not in the swimming pool with them, he would attend all their sport events. Lindell had a soft heart and was very giving. He always shared his wonderful and sincere smile with everyone he met. He will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Mabry and step-father, Walter Hartfield. Lindell is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl of Rogers; mother, Mildred Hartfield of Rogers; daughters, Russlyn Simmering and husband, Justin, Michelle Verser and husband, Jason, and Nikki Orvis and husband, Wade all of Rogers; step-daughter, Kelly Donahoe, (from previous marriage) and husband, Mark of Rogers; sister, Phyllis Neal (Gene) of Rogers; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Rollins Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 5 until 7 p.m. Funeral service will be on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 1 p.m. in First Christian Church, Rogers, with burial to follow at Rogers Cemetery.
