Beverly Palmer Cramer, a long-time resident of Bella Vista, Arkansas, went home on February 13, 2018. She began her full life on a corn and cattle farm in Guthrie County, Iowa, to Rose and Harry Palmer on July 14, 1930. She leaves her children Sue Rae Cramer and Jeff Cramer (Fayetteville, Ark.), his wife Diane, and adored grandchildren Amanda and Holly, and big sis Jerri Grafft (Omaha, Neb.) as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill J. Cramer (Raytown, Mo.) and sisters, Marion Petersen (Bob) and Norma Marshall (Walt). Proud of her childhood farm, she felt lucky being the only one from her class of 3 in a one-room school house to go onto high school. She met and married Bill Cramer in 1952 after moving to Omaha, Neb., and later built a business with him in Raytown, Mo. Retirement in Bella Vista, Ark. was spent spoiling dogs, playing golf and bridge, arguing with telemarketers, and traveling to over 28 countries with friends Lori and Joey. Greatly enjoying reading to her children with richly animated voices, she brought to life her memorable impression of Julia Child and continued sassy quips throughout her 87 years. Music inspired her, talent eluded her. She ate well. Born into a family that raised and delighted in food, she enjoyed cooking and sharing meals. She brought her Dill Weed Dip to every family function for decades. Bev's Dill Weed Dip (served with raw veggies and chips) 1 T Dill Weed, dried 1 t Celery Salt 1T Chopped Parsley 1 T Chopped Onion 1 C Sour Cream 1 C Mayonnaise Mix well and chill. Beverly will be interred into Bella Vista Memorial Garden Cemetery next to beloved aunt and uncle, Bud and Edri Crees. Donations are asked to be sent in her name to Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E Lanchashire Blvd, Bella Vista, Ark. 72714. Raise your favorite beverage to her and give her a toast.
