Ralph J. Greene

Ralph J. Greene of Hot Springs Village, Ark. passed away on February 20th, 2018. He was born August 7th, 1934 in Des Arc, Arkansas to Mitchum and Mary Greene. Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carolyn of 53 years, and his sisters, Ollie Smith, Jeanetta McClain and Vivian Watkins. He is survived by his daughter Tracy New (Jason). His grandchildren, Kara and Hunter Amato, his sisters Margaret Purvis and Shirley Sullivan and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Greene served his country in the Air Force and was President of the UFCW local 1583. He was a tough and furious negotiator and devout Democrat. A visitation will be held Friday February 23rd at 10 a.m. at Mountain Side Methodist Church with the Funeral Service to follow at Noon, Rev. DeeDee Autry presiding. Pallbearers are: Eddie Eyer, Bill Ashmore, Jim Wood, Greg Gossler, Raymond Fugler, and Bruce Ringquist. Honorary Pallbearers are: Bill Silverman, Terry Isgrig, Jamie Purvis and Jamie Burch.
