Carolyn Janelle Lindsey

Carolyn Janelle Lindsey 77 of Burleson, Texas passed away Feb. 14, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born Nov. 17, 1940 in Bowie, Texas to R.H. Gray and Ollie Virginia Gray. Carolyn graduated from Bowie high school in Bowie, Texas and received a Degree from West Texas State University. She later was married to Ira (Frank) Lindsey. Carolyn taught school for 47 years in Colorado, California, Texas, and Arkansas. She was a 16 year member of Highlands Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas and participated in many church functions. She also taught at Lowell Elementary School for five years. Carolyn was Survived by spouse, Ira (Frank) Lindsey; son, Ross Allen Lindsey; sister, Marjorie Liggett. Memorial Services will be held on March 7, 2018, 12:30 p.m. at Highlands Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas 72715.
