Raymond Lee Bowen

Raymond Lee Bowen of Huntsville, Ark., fell asleep in death February 21, 2018 at the age of 69. Ray was born in South Bend, Ind. He served in the Air Force, then moved to Arkansas where he worked as a professional painter in NW Arkansas for 40 years. He loved working on his farm in Madison County with several of his friends and his best dog- Jack. He shared a love of nature with his daughters. He cherished every moment he was able to spend with his siblings and extended family. Ray will forever be remembered for his kind heart and generous spirit. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lockie Bowen and Jim Blakeley (brother in-law). He is survived by four daughters - Jennifer (Andrew) Capshaw, Lianna (Shane) Fundyk, Sarah (Deedrick) Rowe, Olivia Bowen and their mother Bonny Bowen. Three brothers - Chuck, Steve (Karen), and Sam (Cindy) Bowen, and by two sisters - Fran Blakeley and Liz (Wafic) Safa. One grandson Ethan Rowe. Ray will always be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, many friends and his love Linda Fowler.
