MINI BACK LOEB, age 91, passed away February 25, 2018 in Little Rock. Mimi was born February 11, 1927 in Little Rock. She graduated from Little Rock High School and Keystone Junior College in Pennsylvania. Mimi married Milton L. Loeb on January 12, 1949. Miltie, as he was known, passed away in 1997. They were married 48 years. Mimi was predeceased by her parents, Phillip G. Back and Alice L. Back, of Little Rock. She is survived by her sister Marilyn B. Weinstein, and by her children, Milton L. Loeb III and his wife Michelle LeMaire, Alan P. Loeb, Mark L. Loeb, and Jane L. Levine and her husband Scott A. Levine, and by her grandchildren, Amy A. Levine, Rachel H. Levine, Miriam C. Loeb, Breck A. Loeb, and her four legged grandson Kelev. Mimi was the fourth generation of her family to live in Little Rock. Counting her grandchildren, there have been six generations living in Little Rock. Mimi was civic minded. She was a member of the Women's Emergency Committee to Open Our Schools during the Central High crisis. She served on the board of the Arkansas Craft Guild and organized the national convention of the Acoustic Neuroma Association in Little Rock. She volunteered for both of Bill Clinton's Presidential campaigns and participated in his inauguration in 1992. She was an active member of Congregation B'nai Israel and its Sisterhood. In 1977, Mimi and Miltie established Speedee Print, one of Little Rock's first quick printing businesses. In 1987, Jane and Scott Levine joined the company and built it into RiverCity Print and Imaging. She loved to play bridge and mah jongg. Above all, Mimi cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. Memorial Services will be held at Temple B'nai Israel on Tuesday, February 27 at 1 pm.
