Edmond L. Harris Sr., 66, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on February 19, 2018. Edmond (The Man with the Golden Voice) was born in Chicago, Ill., to Levi and Mary Harris. He is preceded in death by both parents and older brother, Bernard Harris. Edmond always had a smile on his face and was known for his bass voice and the way he moved the crowd when he sang. Survivors Include: twin sons, Damone (Crystal) Turner and Daimeon Turner, both from Alabama; one daughter, Shant'e Harris from Redfield, Ark.; three brothers, Samuel Harris of Little Rock, Ark., Leslie (Beverly) Harris of Boston, Mass., and Dwayne (Isabella) Harris of Woodson, Ark.; two sisters, Beverly Taylor of Woodson, Ark., and Velois (Bennie) Bowers of Little Rock, Ark.; a special friend, Cynthia Walker; aspecial aunt, Eldonia (Charles) Lovelace a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, 12 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 372-1305. The repast will follow services at the home of Bennie & Velois Bowers, 2 West Lake Lane, Little Rock, Arkansas.
