Scott Dale Toombs

Scott Dale Toombs, 61, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away peacefully, Saturday February 24, 2018, with loved ones by his side. He was born August 27, 1956. He was a veteran of the Navy who enjoyed bowling, fishing, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time outdoors. He is preceded in death by his father, Dale Toombs, step-father, Sonny Ricks, brother, Glenn Toombs, father-in-law, Robert A. Wooley and brother-in-law, Robert E. Wooley. He is survived by his wife Lana Toombs of Little Rock. Daughters- Cindy (Chaice) Woodall of Rogers, Laura (Joey) Redfearn of Little Rock and Lindsey (Dusty) Brucks of Little Rock. Son- Jonathan (Ginger) Toombs of Rogers. Grandkids – Caitlyn Bellew, Willy and Max Woodall. JD, Haley, Abby, Robert, Rylie and Karli Redfearn. James Toombs and Brody Brucks. Mother Naomi Ricks of Oregon. Sisters-Debbie, Lori, Cindy and Beverly all living on the west coast. Mother-in-law, Ada Wooley of Little Rock. Sister-in-law, Laura (Bruce) Jones of Fayetteville. And many nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be forgotten by few. Funeral services will be held by Russellville Family Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 officiated by Nathan Jones, followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery in Russellville, Ark., under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
