William Edwin Roberson

WILLIAM EDWIN ("Ed/Pa") ROBERSON, Sr., 93, of North Little Rock, beloved son, husband, and father was welcomed to his Eternal Home, Jan 6, 2018. He was born Aug. 1, 1924, in Guion, Ark., to Robert Austin and Vinnie Roberson. A strong and devout Baptist, Ed's faith was an inspiration to those around him. He joined the U S Marines at the age of 17 to help support his mother and younger siblings. He proudly served his country at the end of WWII . Ed was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and the mother of his children, Mabel Emmadale (Tommie) Roberson; brother, Jerry Roberson of Georgia, and two infant sons. He is survived by his children: Eddie (Jackie) Roberson of Benton, Rhonda (Wayne) Hopkins of Little Rock, Roger (Sharon) Roberson of Conway, Kent (Tracy) Roberson of Bryant, and spouse, Leana Roberson of North Little Rock; siblings, Virginia Fiorianti of California, Fran Fortier of Oregon, Robert Roberson of New Mexico and Del Roberson of Benton; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one special great-great-grandchild and countless nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Home Care Little Rock Inpatient Center for the tremendous care and warmth they showed our father. Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday, Jan 9 at the Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6- 8 p.m. Monday Jan. 8 at the Funeral Home.
