Larry Don Coney Sr.

Larry Don Coney, Sr, 72, of Conway, Ark., went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 7, 2018. He was born September 25, 1945, in Ft. Smith, Ark. to the late Homer and Juanita Coney. Larry was also preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Clyde, Clayton and Mark Coney and his sister, Jannette Karaff. Larry was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. He was the owner of Coney's Garage Doors and C&S Guttering. Larry was a retired Little Rock Firefighter. He enjoyed watching his family and instilled in them honesty and hard work ethics. Larry was loved very much by his family, who will dearly miss him. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Diane Coney, his daughter, Melissa (Chris) Morrison of Bismarck, Ark.; his sons, Michael Coney of Little Rock, Ark., Larry (Tracy) Coney, Jr., Tim (Beth) Coney and Chad (Andrea) Coney all of Conway, Ark. Also survived by his grandchildren, Luke (Morgan) Morrison, Logan (Colton) McDaniels, Kyle, Brandon, Sarah, Larson, Layton, Timmy Jr., Collin, and Owen Coney, and his great-grandchild, Piper Morrison. Larry is also survived by his sister, Sarah Annette (Michael) Roberts, his brothers, Jerry (Carolyn) Coney and Steve (Lois) Coney, his brother-in-law, Dave Karaff and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. with visitation to follow on, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Pallbearers will be Luke Morrison, Colton McDaniels, Larson Coney, Layton Coney, Tim Coney Jr., Collin Coney, and Owen Coney. Interment will follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery in North Little Rock.
