Margaret "Marnie" Bauman Christman, 79, of Rogers passed away Friday, January 5, 2018. She was born April 17, 1938 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to the late F. E. Bauman and Margaret Meyer Bauman. Her family relocated to Oklahoma where she graduated High School and completed studies becoming a Registered Nurse. Marnie served her country in the Air National Guard. For more than 40 years she was married to Dr. Dan Christman, who preceded her. For many years she was an active volunteer at St. Vincent Catholic Church, their school and countless community service endeavors. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded by her brother, Jim Bauman formerly of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Survivors include her sister, Patty Kennedy (J. Patrick) of San Leandro, California and their three children and seven grandchildren; her stepdaughter, Dana Christman-Runsabove of Las Cruces, New Mexico; her stepson, Brian Christman of Nashville, Tennessee. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, January 12, 2018 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers. Inurnment will follow in St. Stephen Catholic Church Columbarium in Bentonville.
