Mary Paralee Kozak

Mary Kozak, age 100 of North Little Rock, passed away on January 9, 2018. She was born to the late Daniel and Minnie Nolen on March 30, 1917 in Cross Roads, Arkansas. Mary married the love of her life, George Kozak and together they were blessed with two beautiful children; Lawrence and George-Ann. She loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren, nothing gave her more joy than this. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and even was an avid gardener well into her 90's. Mary was of the Baptist faith and attended Levy Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all her knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband; George Kozak, one grandson; Adam Kozak, seven sisters and one brother. Mary is survived by one son; Lawrence (Susan) Kozak of Round Rock, Texas, one daughter; George-Ann (Wayne) Silmon of Bossier City, Louisiana, four grandchildren; Kim Williams, Dr. Jeff Silmon, Aaron Kozak and Blake Kozak, along with seven great-grandchildren and a niece; Rosemary Meritt. A Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F.
