JOYCE ANN COLE JORDAN, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, went to be with her Lord on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 at the age of 68 years. She was born March 29, 1949 in Little Rock, Ark., the daughter of Carl and Gwendolyn Cole. She married Clark Jordan on July 2, 1967. She enjoyed a 30.year career as a telecommunications manager at AT&T/Lucent. She was a lifelong member of Ironton Assembly of God Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and song leader. She had a deep love for singing gospel music in church and at family reunions. She was an avid reader and found great comfort in studying her Bible. She naturally shared with others the joy and love that she found in her faith in Jesus Christ. She was a shining light to many, to whom she selflessly gave unconditional love, compassion and support. Family was her passion and delight, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her mother and her granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her father Carl Cole and her brother Stevie Cole. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Clark Jordan; her mother, Gwendolyn Cole; her sisters, Lavon Dunlap (Wayne) and Deloris Palmer (Ricky); her brothers, Aaron Cole (Judy), Carl Cole Jr. (Marcia), and Travis Cole (Sherry); her daughters, Tabitha Jordan (Adam) and Christy Moore (Wesley); her granddaughters, Candice, Naomi, Nova, and Alexandra; and a large extended family who will miss her greatly. The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30 (455-5800). The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday at Ironton Assembly of God Church, 15722 Ironton Road, Little Rock.
