Ailene Wilma Hagee, 67, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 14, 2018. She was born on Aug 21, 1950 in Springdale, Ark. to Willie L. and Ruby Jewell (Lee) Phillips, and was raised in the Springdale area.  During her working career she worked for Cargill in Booneville, Ark., and as a physical therapist in Paris, AR.  She was a member of Journey Church in Sallisaw and had working in the church as a greeter, with the Martha Ministries, and with the Toddler Sunday School. Ailene was an excellent cook, and dessert maker.  She enjoyed yard work and landscaping, she loved her animals, basket weaving and decorating. She especially loved to dance and watch dancing. She is survived by her husband, John Eldridge; Mother, Ruby Phillips; son, David Hagee of Blaine, Wash.; step-children, Ashley and Aaron Merrill of Muldrow, Britany Eldridge of Oklahoma City, Courtney Eldridge of Ft. Smith, and John Eldridge Jr. of Oklahoma City; siblings, Linda Jimenez and her husband John of Anderson, Mo., Charlie Phillips and his wife Monte of Clarksburg, Md., and Larry Phillips of Springdale. Ailene was preceded in death by her father, Willie Phillips; Brother Jim Phillips, and Sister, Judy Micheals. Memorial services will be on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the Journey Church, 814 E Cherokee, Sallisaw, at 2:00 pm under the direction of the Forever Memories Funeral Service. Pastor Troy Marino will officiate. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to Forever Friends Humane Society, 103766 S 4650 Rd. Sallisaw, Okla. 74955 and especially Home Away from Home, 4011 Maryland Ave., Little Rock, Ark. 72204  The family of Ailene Hagee has entrusted the Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw with the funeral arrangements.
