Anna Marie Glover, 85, of Conway, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Friday, January 12, 2018. She was born June 18, 1932, in Preston, Arkansas to the late Joseph Ernest Prouse and Teresa (Unger) Prouse. Anna was also preceded in death by her life companion, Denver Arnold, three brothers, Henry A. Prouse, Joe Prouse Jr., and Johnny Prouse, and one sister, Elizabeth Caroline Young. Anna, also known as "Granny" to all her close family and friends, retired from Baldwin Piano in 1994 and was very involved in the Senior Citizens' Center of Conway. She was a master of crocheting various things such as doll clothes, doilies, dish rags, and afghans. For many years Granny also entered a vast assortment of desserts and crafts in the Faulkner County Fair many of which she earned the First Place Blue Ribbon. She enjoyed early morning garage sales, collecting tiny knick knacks and guardian angels. She was a wonderful storyteller and a lover of puns & practical jokes. Granny also loved dressing up for Halloween and playing with her Great-Grandchildren, Ryan Hoover and Charleigh Watson. Granny's fun loving spirit and infectious laughter will be greatly missed by her son, Pat Glover and wife Mary; daughter, Suzanne Hairston and husband Dwight; grandchildren, Melissa Hoover and husband Derek, Leann Watson and husband Jonathan, Teresa Hairston, Scott Hairston, and Christopher Hairston; four great-grandchildren including Ryan Hoover and Charleigh Watson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
