Howard Martin Biesterfeld

Howard Martin Biesterfeld, 88, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, died January 14, 2018. He was born June 10, 1929 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Martin Biesterfeld and Selma Biesterfeld. He retired from J.C. Penney as Store manager in which he had 41 years of service. Howard was an active member in the Lions Club for over 25 years. He was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce. Preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Beyer and Audrey Walters. Howard is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ula Biesterfeld; two sons, James Biesterfeld, Sumner, Wash., Craig Biesterfeld, St. Louis, Mo.; one daughter, Peggy Wagner, Hannibal, Mo.; two brothers, Roland Biesterfeld and Kenneth Biesterfeld, both of Crete, Ill.; sister, Geraldine Erickson, Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, January 18th at Bella Vista Lutheran Church with memorial services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Bella Vista Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
