Rita Carol Jacuzzi-Huber

Rita Carol Jacuzzi-Huber, age 64, of Whispering Pines, N.C., found her final peace on Saturday, January 13, 2018. She was born in Berkeley, California on October 2, 1953 to the late Aldo and Granuccia Jacuzzi, and later moved to Little Rock with her family. She graduated from Mount Saint Mary Academy. In 1998, she moved to North Carolina with her loving husband, Jeffery Lynn Huber, and made Whispering Pines her forever home. Rita approached everything in life with beauty and enthusiasm. She filled her life with creativity and art, whether through dance, photography, music, painting, or cooking. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Huber, her daughter, Dayna Abraham and husband, Jason of Illinois; her son, James McCann and wife, Jessica of North Carolina; her son, Paxton Brinkley of Florida, and her son, Adrian Black of North Carolina; her brothers, Roy Jacuzzi and wife, DeeAnn, of California, and Victor Jacuzzi and wife, Sandy of Arkansas; her sister, Leslie Vanni and husband, Joe of New York; and her five grandchildren, David, Elijah, Hannah, Caiden and Flora. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 25, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at Chenal Country Club. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the ALS Foundation, or her alma mater, Mount St. Mary Academy.
