Bobby Dale Spears, 76, of Conway, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 22, 2018. He was born January 14, 1942 in Gravel Ridge, Ark. to the late Joseph Claude and Blanche Edith (Corbin) Speer. Bobby was also preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Regina Spears, sister, June Davis, and three brothers, James, O.D., and Bill Speer. Bobby was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Vietnam Conflict. He received the Air Force Accommodation Medal for Meritorious Service and was a member of the Fire Fighters Aircraft and Rescue. He was a self-employed construction worker and later joined Kinco construction as Construction Superintendent and was employed with Kinco for 17 years. Bobby built homes for several members of his family. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was a loving and unselfish person who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Beverly J. Spears, son, Glen Spears of Vilonia, daughter, Gail Anderson (Billy) of Conway, grandchildren, Kylie, Wyatt and Prestyn Spears, Klint and Kevin Holleman, Jonathan and Jacob Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 24th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
