Hermine Theresa Schuessler went to be with our Lord on January 22, 2018, after being rewarded with 106 years of life. She was born May 26, 1911 in Gosspetersdorf, Austria to Franchesca (Ruck) and Gerhardt Unger. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerhardt and Granchesca Unger; siblings, Josef, Franz, Josephine, Julie and Stephanie; husband Walter Heinrich Schuessler and two daughters, Marjorie Hull and Linda Dawson. She survived the occupation of her homestead, by Russian soldiers, during WWI and came to live in the United States, as and indentured servant, during WWII. She was known as ‘Nanny' to her family and spent the majority of her life in St. Louis, Missouri as a homemaker. She moved to Jacksonville, Arkansas in 2011 to live with her granddaughter's family. She is survived by six grandchildren, Catherine Gruver, Richard Bielawski, Steven Bielawski, Mark Bielawski, John Dawson and Michael Dawson; five great grandchildren, Nathanael Eoff, Mike Bielawski, Stevane Gruver, Steven Gruver and Steven Bielawski II and two great-great grandchildren, Miles Rogstad-Eoff and Soren Rogstad-Eoff. She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri at 2 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Maryknoll and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Arrangements made by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
