James Richard Wagnon

James Richard Wagnon, age 79, of Fayetteville, died Monday, January 29, 2018. He was born October 22, 1938 in Fayetteville, the son of Garland and Myrtle Andry Wagnon. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gwen Wagnon and two brothers, Ervin Wagnon and L.D. Wagnon. He was an employee of the Campbell Soup Company, retiring after 37 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and quail hunting was his passion. Richard was greatly loved by family, friends and neighbors, and blessed with an extended family of friends and loved ones. He is survived by a brother, David Wagnon of Farmington; a step-son, Eddie Logue of Bella Vista; five grandchildren, and friends, Larry and Kimberly Powell of Fayetteville. Visitation will be held 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at Moore's Chapel followed by burial at Rieff Chapel Cemetery.
