Retired Colonel Daurice Cordell Vest, 85, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, died peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2018 at the Arkansas State Veteran's Home, Heroes 3. D. C. is survived by his wife, Ilse Vest, Sherwood, Ark., daughters Theresa (Floyd, Jr.) Jones, Denver, N.C., and Carol Griffin, Marion, Ark., son, Ronald (Jackie) Vest, Mammoth Spring, Ark., step children, Gale McVicker, Gary (Donna) Collier, and Rose (Allen) Sykes, Sherwood, Ark. and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home on Monday, February 5.
