COURTNEY SORRELLS, age 30, of Mabelvale, went home and is walking with Jesus on Thursday, June 28, 2018. She was born on January 13, 1988 in Little Rock, the daughter of Nathan Kindy and Kimberly Parker Kindy. On September 3, 2011, she married Aaron Sorrells. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jerry and Wanda Kindy; and one cousin, Cody Dobbins. Courtney was a loving wife and mother. She loved taking care of her family, raising chickens, and loved her American Bullies and horses. Courtney's loving smile will be absent here but will remain forever in our hearts, because she loved. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Sorrells of Mabelvale; two sons, Corbin Lane Sorrells and Judah Gabriel Sorrells, both of Mabelvale; her father, Nathan Kindy of Little Rock; her mother, Kimberly Halbert of Mabelvale; one brother, Chad Ellis of Honolulu, Hawaii; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Amy and Tanner Orten of Hensley and Katlin Halbert and Larry Morris of Bryant; her maternal grandparents, George and Paula Smith of Mabelvale and James Parker of North Little Rock; her farther-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Debra Sorrells of Royal; nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Pastor George Yarberry officiating. Interment will be in McDowell Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Sunday evening. Pallbearers will be Hayden Edwards, Tyler Edwards, Joseph Sorrells, Steve Parker, Alvin Yarberry and Evan Yarberry.
