DEACON EDDIE JONES, (nicknamed "Red" by his father) 92, of Little Rock, was born Oct. 23, 1925 to the proud parents, General "Buster" Jones and Pearlie Burns Jones in Keo-England, Ark. He made his transition to his eternal resting place on Thursday, June 21, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother, a stepmother, (three) grandchildren and (one) great-grandchild. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Margaret J. Jones; sons, Harold (Muriel) Cook; Wilfred (Lucinda) Eaton; Rev. Rickey (Desire) Fuquay; and Mickey (Cassandra) Fuquay; daughters, Janet (Rickey) Young; Jocelyn (Arthur) Lock; Yalounda Hunt; Hafeeza Majeed; Rev. Barbara A. Butler; Evangelist Brenda Stevenson; one sister, Ora Mae Harris; (26) grandchildren; (36) great-grandchildren; (1) great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong church members and friends. Visitation Viewing will be Monday, July 2, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock. (501) 372-1305. Services: Tuesday, July 3, 2018, 10 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 1017 Ray Road, Jacksonville, Ark. Interment follows at noon, Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
