Essie Louise Coleman

ESSIE LOUISE COLEMAN of Little Rock, Arkansas went home to be with her Lord on June 28, 2018. Louise was born on August 5, 1930 in Parkin, Arkansas to William Swain Leaptrot and Essie Verona Guin Leaptrot. She was born again by God's free grace in 1944. Louise was absent from school only two days and graduated high school at Crawfordsville, Arkansas in 1948. She later graduated from Draughn's Business College in Memphis, Tenn. Louise married John Duane Coleman on March 20, 1954. Louise was a committed Christian, a faithful wife, and a devoted mother. She loved working as a para-professional public-school teacher for many years. She had a servant's heart and often volunteered her time and talents to help others. Louise enjoyed retirement by spending time with family and traveling with her husband. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Hope Coleman, and Steve and Dot Coleman, all of Benton, Arkansas. Visitation and funeral service will be held at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home in Little Rock. Visitation is from 6 PM to 8 PM Sunday July 01. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Monday July 2.
