L. A. Varner

L. A. Varner, 74, of England, Arkansas arrived in this world on May 15, 1944 and gained his heavenly wings on June 30, 2018. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years, Bettie Varner, his parents Opal and Leonard Varner, five brothers and one sister. L. A. is survived by his children; Stebbin Varner (Debbie) of Baytown, Texas and Jennie Miller (Raymond) of England, Arkansas. Also surviving him are his grandchildren; Stebbin II and Dillon Varner of Baytown, Texas, Brock and Morgan Miller of England, Arkansas. L. A. was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Arkla Gas after 32 years. Some knew him as "The Gas Man" and others knew him as "Paps". He was a wonderful father, husband and grandfather that will truly be missed. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 2, 2018 at Roller England Chapel.
