Dianne McHughes

DIANNE MCHUGHES, 66, of Little Rock, passed away July 6, 2018. Born September 10, 1951 in Portland, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Henry Tucker Hankins and Helen Nunnley Hankins. Diane was retired from UAMS where she worked as a registered nurse for over 25 years. She took great pride in her career as she touched so many lives. She loved beach vacations, where you could often find her feeding the seagulls and watching the waves crash onto the beach early in the mornings. Dianne adored her children, loved them unconditionally, and was always a supportive role model throughout their lives. She lived and loved life to the fullest and never left a room without saying "I love you". She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronnie McHughes; and a brother, Robert Allen Hankins. She is survived by her children, Emma Davidson ( Brandon) of Maumelle and Henry "Hank" McHughes of North Little Rock; sister, Linda Collier of Nashville, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Barrett Davidson and Blakelyn Davidson, both of Maumelle. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, (501) 661-9111 with Chaplain Kathy Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Cole Springs Cemetery at Ferndale, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
