William Simpson

William "Bill" Simpson Jr., 89, of Lonoke, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 in Cabot. He was born March 10, 1929 in Hooper, Utah to the late William Edward and Loreta Hull Simpson. Bill retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. After retirement from the Air Force, he worked at Parkhill Lanes Bowling Center. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is preceded in death by his wife, Madge Hearne Simpson, three brothers and one sister. Survivors include his step-children, Jerry, Randy and Beckey Qualls; sisters, Bette Wilson, Mary Stokes, Isabelle (Jack) Voisard, Kathryn Penrod and Iretta Patrie; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
