Dennis Dale Bauer

Dennis Dale Bauer, 67, of Bryant was united with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 19, 2018. He was a faithful member of First Lutheran Benton, graduate of the University of Arkansas, and avid Razorback fan. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, proud father and grandfather, loving brother, gentle soul, and tremendous inspiration to many others as an uncle, cousin, friend, youth group leader, coach, scout leader, and soccer referee. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Sue Bauer of Gillett, Ark. and grandson, Becken Bauer. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Louise (Winters) Bauer; daughter, Denise (Tim) Frazier of Southern Pines, N.C.; son, Daniel Bauer of Memphis, Tenn.; son, Darren (Arlene) Bauer; grandson, Reus Bauer of Georgetown, Texas; sisters, Ann Nichols of Charlotte, N.C.; Phyllis Wittrock of Westerville, Ohio; brother, Larry Bauer of Gillett, Ark.; a loving extended family; and a host of friends. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, July 23, at First Lutheran Benton, 18181 I-30 Frontage Road, Benton, Ark. 72015. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Sunday, July 22, at First Lutheran Benton, 18181 I-30 Frontage Road, Benton, Ark. 72015. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Dennis to either the American Heart Association (heart.org) or the National Stroke Association (stroke.org).
