Billy "Poppy" Mahan

Billy "Poppy" Mahan, age 55, of Springdale, passed away July 22, 2018. He was survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan; daughter, Lindsey Smith and husband Codi; three grandchildren, Addison, Lakelynn and Sawyer; parents, Jack and Marilyn Mahan of Fayetteville; one sister, Patricia Darter and husband Charlie; brother-in-law, Jeff Shaw and wife Kathy; two nieces, Jessica Bush and Marisa Shaw; two nephews, Austin Shaw and Cole Parsley; one aunt and several cousins. He had a great passion for not only his family but music and old cars. Many hours were spent with friends working on or talking about what to do for the next car project. He will be missed by so many people that loved him. A celebration of his life will be 10 a.m., Wednesday July 25, 2018 at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
