Bonita Imogene "Jean" (Little) Sivage, 90, of Bartlett, Tenn., formerly of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away on July 26th, 2018 in Collierville, Tenn. She was born July 27, 1927 in Fayetteville to Samey and Allie Little. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Robert Eugene "Gene" Sivage, her parents and three siblings. Jean graduated from University High School in Fayetteville, Ark., in 1943. Her first job was working for F.W. Woolworth where she met and married the love of her life, Gene Sivage. She worked for several companies over the years but would describe herself as a Christian believer, faithful wife to her beloved husband, devoted mother to her only child, Nita (Sivage) Baker, her two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Jean and Gene introduced themselves as "Just a pair of Jeans." They both loved to camp and spend time with the Horse Shoe Bend Campers. They have remained in contact with these friends and cherished the memories of these relaxing trips to the lake. Jean was a faithful member of Trinity Fellowship Assembly of God in Fayetteville, Ark., where she and her husband were involved in numerous activities of the church. In January 2017, she moved to Bartlett, Tenn., to be near her daughter. She became a member of First Assembly of Memphis in 2017 and enjoyed attending the services and the various activities of the church. She especially enjoyed the Wednesday evening music and Bible studies. She is survived by her daughter, Nita (Paul) Baker, granddaughter, Danita (Scott) Seyer and grandson, Derek (Jessica) Baker, great-grandchildren, Stefanie, Allison, Jacob, Sara, Lyle, Samuel, Curtis, and Nichole, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Celebration of her life will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 31st at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel, 4520 N. Crossover Road, Fayetteville, Ark. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Additionally, a memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 3rd, at First Assembly of Memphis, 8650 Walnut Grove Road, Cordova, Tenn. 38018.
