Anita Faye Gangluff, 76, of Conway passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018. She was born on October 18, 1941 in Little Rock to the late Roy C. and Vera Katherine Smith. She was also preceded in death by two sons, David and Ritchie Jaynes; and two daughters, Melissa Bullard and Dawn Hudson. Anita retired from working many years as the billeting manager at Camp Robinson. She was of Cherokee descent and taught Native American history across the state. She often attended and performed at pow-wows and was an Indian storyteller. She loved shopping, working on crafts, and sitting at the lake. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Michael Gangluff; two sons, Anthony Shawn Hudson and Jeremy Mimms (Geni); daughter, Jennifer Grizzell (Harold); eight grandchildren, Brayden, Marlie, Cody, Kyle, Ashley, Kirsti, David, and Candice; and eight great-grandchildren. A rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway with visitation following. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Church. The celebrant is Father Tony Robbins. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Vincent, Arkansas.
