Judith Johnson Scott, age 72, of Russellville died Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. She was born December 14, 1945, in Knoxville, Tennessee to Walter and Margaret Johnson. She graduated from the University of Tennessee where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She held a variety of jobs outside the home including, personnel staffing specialist, school teacher, office manager, retail sales, and catering. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Russellville and an ordained Elder. She enjoyed being a band mom for her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook. At Central Presbyterian Church she established and maintained a meal mission in the church which prepared and delivered hot meals to the sick, needy or shut-in. She was an avid supporter of animal rescue and participated in many animal rescue transports to homes where they would be cared for and loved. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Montgomery; a step-father, Edward Reeverts; and a daughter, Katherine Scott. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Thomas Scott Jr.; a daughter, Liz Scott of Bentonville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Kelsey of Rogers and Matthew and Lizet of Russellville; eight grandchildren, Kate, Scotty, Anna, Emily, Will, Harrison, Heath and Hogan; and a brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Jerry and Linda Johnson of Knoxville, Tennessee. In accordance with Mrs. Scott's wishes no funeral services will be held. A private family memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
