Patsy Lantrip Brown of McCrory, Arkansas died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in McCrory. She was 82 years of age. Mrs. Brown was born in Rivervale, Arkansas to Sybil and Elton Lantrip on August 16, 1935. She was a member of the McCrory First Church of the Nazarene where she faithfully greeted everyone on Sunday mornings. She graduated from McCrory High School in 1953. She went on to graduate from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Alabama with a degree in Business Management in 1975. After retiring from Teledyn Brown in 1994, she moved back to her hometown of McCrory. She loved her family and never met a stranger. She spent countless hours on the lake teaching kids to water ski when she couldn't swim herself. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and making sure everyone had plenty to eat. She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 63 years, Boyce Cain "Bud" Brown. Survivors are one daughter, Debby Avery and husband Brett of Sherwood, two grandchildren, Jeremy Avery and wife Charity of Benton, Brittany Fulmer and husband Billy of Greenbrier, seven great-grandchildren, Lexi, Myles, Hayley, Hannah, Weston, Payton and Scarlett. Visitation will be Saturday, June 2nd at 1 p.m. with services following at 2 p.m. at Thompson-Wilson McCrory Funeral Home. Interment will be at Woodman Cemetery.
