Shameka L. McClain

Shameka L. McClain, 34, Bryant, Ark. went home to be with the Lord, May 27, 2018. She was born the second child on May 23, 1984 to the late Ella J. Banks and Stanley McClain. She was a graduate of McClellan High School and a devoted employee of DHS. She was preceded in death by one son, Mart Sears Jr., mother, Ella J. Banks, brother, Alexander McClain, Sr., grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Samuel McClain, Sr., and Herbert Banks Sr. Her memory will live on in her son, Zedric Hickey; three daughters, Aysia Williams, Dakota Sears and Zahrea Hickey of Bryant, Ark.; her father and step-mother, Stanley and Pamela McClain; one brother, Herbert McClain, two sisters, Nadia (Dennis) Johnson, and Shelby McClain of Little Rock, Ark.; and, grandmother, Elnora Williams of Helena, Ark. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 811 Scipio A. Jones Drive, North Little Rock, Ark.
