Edgar Hensley

Edgar Sykes Hensley (Ed), born July 19, 1928 and passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings; his loving wife, Gracie Hensley and one daughter, Gloria Jean Harris. Survived by one sister and three daughters, Linda Suttle (Buddy), Debra Hensley, Trish Thompson (Ronnie); stepchildren, Marty Sims (Richard), Don Tetleton, Mary Hoyt and Betty Jo Bensing (Bill); eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Edgar was a welder by trade and joined Boilermakers Local 69, Little Rock February 5, 1968 and retired April 4, 1994. The family would like to thank Hospice Homecare for being such a blessing to us during the time spent with Daddy, especially his nurse JaLisa and CNA Natashia. Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018, followed by a visitation at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, June 4, 2018 at Mars Hill Cemetery, Duck Hill, Mississippi under the direction of Oliver Funeral Home, Winona, Mississippi.
