COLONEL CHARLES LOVELADY Charles "Chuck" David Lovelady, 91 of White Hall, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018. Born August 24, 1926 at Pine Bluff, he was the son of the late Robert Lovelady and Willie Cranford Lovelady. A graduate of Watson Chapel High School, Col. Lovelady was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church. He retired at the rank of Colonel from the United States Army in 1986 after 34 years of service. A man of strong convictions, he put God, Country and family above all else. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Linda Starr Lovelady; son-in-law, Thomas Kenter and daughter-in-law, Linda Lovelady. Col. Lovelady is survived by his loving wife 66 years, Betty Jo Coleman Lovelady; children, Kathy Kenter, Joe Lovelady, Mary Lawson, Lisa Haynes and Christina Lovelady; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, June 4th, 10:00 a.m. at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Chapel with Brother Howard Loetcher officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery.
