Lola Myrl Hillian

Lola Myrl Hillian, age 87, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018, in Fort Smith. She was born on September 27, 1930, in Goshen, Arkansas, to Norman and Elsie Daisy (Eubanks) Hash. She is preceded in death by her sister, Ola Sharp; two stepsons, Larry and Gary Hillian; and her nephew, Myron Sharp. Myrl graduated high school and went on to attend college and enter the work force. She met the love of her life, Opal Hillian, and then her true passion became her home and her family. She spent most of her years raising her children and pouring her life into those she loved. She is survived by her loving husband, Opal Hillian of the home; her two step-daughters, Pat Childers and husband Nick of Clarksville, and Sandra Haney and husband Roger of Alma; one nephew, Doyle Sharpe; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00am on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home at 4520 N Crossover Road, Fayetteville, Ark., 72703. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with interment to follow immediately at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
