Melville Stogner Sr.

Melville Stogner Sr., 78, of Pangburn, passed away May 31, 2018. He was born March 12, 1940 in Huntsville, Alabama to Shelby and Geneva Browning Stogner. Melville served in the Air Force for 20 years before retiring. He was a Christian man and never met a stranger. Melville traveled the world while doing what he loved best, racing stock cars. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Allison Stogner; daughter, Kimberly Idlebi; and sister, Dora Fay Bartkowiak. He is survived by his sons, Melville Stogner Jr. (Heather) and Sheldon Stogner; son in law, Fayez Idlebi; brothers, Shelby and Robert Stogner; five grandsons, Lucas and John Reeves, Noah Stogner, Bilal and Hamzah Idlebi; and one granddaughter, Batool Idlebi. A visitation will be held Monday, June 4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
